Yagnopavit or Janeu Sanskar is a Hindu ritual where a sacred thread (called Yajnopavita or Janeu) is ceremonially worn by a young boy, symbolizing his readiness for formal education, spiritual growth, and commitment to upholding certain ethical and moral values.
