Pind daan
Pind Daan is a sacred Hindu ritual performed to offer gratitude and peace to one’s ancestors (Pitru). It is believed that by offering pind (rice balls), water, and prayers, the souls of departed ancestors attain moksha and are freed from unresolved earthly bonds.
