The Kashi 15 Day Daily Pitru Dosh Shanti Mahapuja and Ganga Aarti is a deeply sacred and transformative ritual performed in Kashi (Varanasi), the spiritual capital of India. Known as the land of Moksha, Kashi holds unparalleled significance in Hinduism as it is believed that performing rituals and poojas here liberates the soul from the cycle of birth and death.
This 15-day Mahapuja is dedicated to appeasing one’s ancestors (Pitru) and seeking forgiveness for any Pitru Dosh (ancestral karmic imbalances or unresolved deeds) that may be affecting an individual or family. The Mahapuja is performed daily with Vedic mantras, homa (havan), tarpan, and offering rituals, culminating every evening with the divine Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Advance Booking: The puja must be booked at least 7-10 days in advance to ensure proper arrangements.
Accurate Details: Devotees must provide correct name, gotra, and date of birth details for personalized Sankalp.
Non-Refundable: Once booked, the puja is non-refundable as arrangements and samagri procurement begin immediately.
Participation: Devotees may attend in person at Kashi or choose online participation with live video/audio updates.
Duration: This is a 15-day daily ritual. Devotees are encouraged to remain sattvic (pure) during this period by following a vegetarian diet and avoiding alcohol/tobacco.
Spiritual Nature: The puja is a religious and spiritual service, and results depend on faith, devotion, and divine grace.
Weather & Ganga Rituals: In case of natural circumstances (heavy rains, river conditions, or government restrictions), the Ganga Aarti may be performed with alternative arrangements.
Final Day Participation: If attending in person, devotees may join the final day Purnahuti and receive prasadam and blessings.
